Regardless of how good a company or products are, if people don’t know about them they might as well not exist. To sustain success, potential customers must be informed about products and the business. More-over, these facts must be told in an interesting and compelling way; essentially, the company needs to tell its story in a succinct, interesting and consistent manner. Video is an ideal vehicle for storytelling. It provides a sense of interactivity which encourages familiarity which in turn helps in gaining loyalty and empathy.
Video has become quite prevalent. Due to current technologies, they are no are longer restricted for display on television screens. In fact, research confirms that the majority of videos are now watched online and on mobile platforms like smart phones, iPods/iPads/iPhones, uploaded to various video sharing websites like Facebook and Youtube and also streamed online on companies websites.
“When CISCO, the company which provides the Internet’s backbone, says that by 2013 video will account for 90% of Internet traffic, businesses should take notice and formulate their video marketing and communication strategy,” stated Mahmood Al-Yousif, Gulf Broadcast’s founder and executive producer. “The impact of videos in corporate communications continues to escalate, and Bahraini enterprises and entrepreneurs stand to benefit from the expertise and creativity of Gulf Broadcast in telling their story. The subsidy offered by Tamkeen’s pioneering Marketing Assistance Scheme make corporate videos very much within SMEs’ reach.”
“Being the first video production company to be impanelled by Tamkeen makes us really proud. We look forward to engaging our creativity to empower the Bahraini business community to show their audience their products and services through well crafted and creative corporate videos” Mr Al-Yousif continued, “it is not by chance that we have been recognised through five international awards for our work.”
