We are one of the premier film, video and new media production companies in Bahrain. We’re looking for an experienced video cameraman to join us and get stuck in. He will be working on some very exciting corporate video projects!

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Reporting to the producer/director you will be responsible for production and post-production of video projects that come through the studio, ranging from corporate interviews through to full productions with multiple location shoots across the world. Working with the in-house team you will manage all of the production aspects of a video project (filming, editing and mastering) through to completion.

You should have experience of filming (HiDef, Sony EX series, Canon DSLR cameras, lighting and sound) as well as basic Avid editing and encoding. The workload in the studio can fluctuate from week to week and this role will involve lots of travelling and very busy days.

Ideal opportunity for an innovative, creative and dynamic graduate who is a self driven perfectionist excited about working with all things video related from editing through to camera filming. You will be working on a range of video projects for a host of corporate clients.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Production and some post-production on all video projects
- Pre-production of video projects (including production schedules, itineraries, crew bookings, casting, recces, client liaison, equipment hire and travel arrangements)
- Report to Production Manager
- Responsible for individual delegated tasks through to completion
- Liaise with other team members (designers and new media developers), where necessary, to complete delegated tasks
- Shooting interviews and corporate videos on HDV camera
- Preparing a set for filming (lighting, furniture, background)
- Editing footage in an Avid editing suite
- Encoding and uploading clips for streaming and download (various formats eg. WMV, QuickTime, MPEG)
- Creating and working with motion graphics
- Sourcing external costs for larger productions

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:
- Previous production experience (filming/editing)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in video or film
- Video production (shooting on DV/HDV, lighting set-up, sound)
- Video post-production (Avid systems preferable, FCP knowledge an advantage)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Well organised and proficient with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:
- Pre-production experience
- Strong software skills
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience
- Knowledge of video formats and standards

Salary Per Month: Commensurate with experience

Min Education Level : Graduate or professional qualification in the field

Other Professional Qualification
Work Experience : 3 – 5 Years
