Motion Graphics Artist

Gulf Broadcast is looking for an enthusiastic junior motion graphics artist who will generate and manipulate graphic elements into animations for video productions. He must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. He will be visually creative and can work under pressure within tight deadlines and can work with minimal supervision and deliver an up to par output.

Job Description:

  • Providing support to the Producer, Post Production Head and Production team
  • Meeting with the production team to discuss post production requirements
  • Developing and generating doable graphic animation concepts (e.g. company logo animation, demographics, introduction to film animations etc.)
  • Sketching storyboards for pre-production
  • Assisting on location filming as a versatile production crew

Requirements:

  • Adept in using After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and CS4 production components
  • Can draw sketches for storyboard and animatics
  • Can communicate well in English
  • Willing to be part of the whole production team from Pre to Post

Advantages:

  • Fluency in Arabic a big advantage
  • Knowledge in using Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Studio, and Cinema4d (or any 3d software)
