Welcome Ayan Banerjee to Team GB!

Ayan joins Gulf Broadcast as lead cameraman and DoP after a career of many years as the main cameraman for a travel and entertainment channel in India, a position which has taken him all over India as well as a good portion of the world; from Australia through to Norway and many countries in between. He was instrumental in the success of the travel channel through his productions.

He comes to Gulf Broadcast at a time of growth and I know – looking at his previous productions and speaking to some of his colleagues and mentors – that he will be an excellent addition to our team. I look forward to his contributions for many years to come,” said Mahmood Al-Yousif, Gulf Broadcast’s founder and executive producer.

“I’m really happy to be here at Gulf Broadcast. Although this is my very first day on the job, the welcome I received and the induction process given is a good harbinger of things to come. I can’t wait to get behind some of the productions that Gulf Broadcast have become very much lauded for and also look forward to add to the considerable success GB has already experienced,” Ayan commended on his appointment.

Ayan education saw him gain an MA in Mass Communications and Journalism from Apeejay Institute of Mass Communications where he specialised in cinematography and television production and also has a BA in English Honors from Ranchi University.
